My idol, the person who I resonate the most with, I miss him although I've never met him in-person, a wound which never seems to heal .
I have not listened to every single album released by every single artist, but I can say I have listened to every single album of the artists I listen to the only exception is Tool where I've listened to two of their albums which are Ænima & Lateralus the latter which I still haven't finished even after maybe 8 months because the tracks leading up to the track Lateralus is surreal. Getting back to the point his godly voice, superb lyricism and his out of the world guitar playing for all the bands ( except Audioslave ) and his solo projects opens a portal to another world for me. I've never felt so touched by an artist like this ever before, I can feel his pain through his voice, especially on the track I am the highway by Audioslave. The work he has done with all his 3 bands and his solo projects are very distinct from each other, it's as if we're having a glimpse of different sides of Chris Cornell. I don't know when exactly I discovered Soundgarden, but I am sure it was when I just finished the discography of radio head and thought nothing can top this Soundgarden did it was nothing like I have ever listened to everything was simply amazing. Matt Cameron's drumming along with Ben Sheperd's bass playing with Chris' rhythm guitar and Kim's lead guitar just worked like a charm, words couldn't describe how I felt when I heard them for the first time, I think I was euphoric for finding music in which each instrument was being played in such a way where each note is perfect.[ later I discovered tool and I was flabbergasted] I feel Superunknown [ by Soundgarden which is the first album I listened to] has to be one of the few albums which I would give 10 / 10. Every single track over there is a solid 10 on 10. I suggest you listen to the album. There is not a single day that goes by without me remembering the late artist, I still can't come to terms with it that he is no more. Many times I've felt good ones go first and the worst remain, sometimes I feel that the good ones are taken away from the rest as they don't need to suffer in this place filled with their polar opposites so, in a way they are liberated, they don't need to suffer over here, we don't know where they have gone but all of us will know one day. Well, now whenever I feel sad about his demise I will come here to remind myself my hypothesis of why he left us. I highly recommend listening to the songs linked below with proper equipment please or you will be missing out. Thank you for reading this I wish to see you again.

Hi Black Sheep your narrative catches my interest. Bewitched. Admitting I have to research and understand the artists and their music you laud on. Will do the study. Have you lend your ears to mellifluous Yesudas aka Dasettan? Or the percussion Maestros?
ReplyDeleteI have lent my ears to the magnificent vocalist, he was a stupendous range. I just can't understand the words which are taken from the dictionary by the songwriters to do their work.
