What are we doing with ourselves ?

A few nights ago I couldn't sleep, there wasn't any particular reason behind it, it was one of those nights where you just can't sleep and this time I did something slightly different I put what kept me up on paper this time instead of keeping it to myself, usually, I lay down in the dark with my eyes open staring at the fan and zone out 80 % of the time thinking about life and our purpose with our time here on Earth from a relatively "objective point of view.  [ I believe we never can be objective as " objective" viewpoint comprises of subjective interpretations of the subject we are trying to view "objectively"]

There are very few definite things in life its birth, love [which is actually a chemical reaction that tells the body it needs to reproduce as it is one of the basic instincts of human beings, there is nothing special or fourth dimensional about it, simply said it is basic biology and it should be taken in that spirit is my opinion], betrayal, heartbreak, death and taxes left out the most important ones you come alone live alone and die alone which is very obvious. It is such an irony that humans are social animals and we aren't united as we are supposed to be I don't know who is at fault here our ancestors being jerks to each other, the government finding ways to divide and rule us, ourselves for striving to be part of a small group resulting in disunity as a whole, maybe all of it has resulted in the current global scenario we can never know.

We all are having the same flesh and blood we all are one and the same, children of mother nature somewhere along the way we decided to fight and bicker among ourselves and kablamo the downfall of mankind began. Not a single day goes by where I wish our mother hit the reset button and cleanse herself from her most parasitic and dumb diabolically malicious offspring.

Sometimes when I look back I find that we humans are really diabolical intentionally or otherwise, I feel we haven't been like this all the time, [ maybe I am completely wrong ]I think during the Homo habilis period just like all animals [ we still our but, we can't come to terms with it as our ego is so inflated it scares the life out of me ]we were trying to survive all the hurdles mother threw at us, had no ill intent in mind,  peaceful beings were we until we invented the very root of all evil MONEY [ a piece on that is now out ] it is what made us inhuman, power-hungry, diabolical, manipulative, evil drunk monkeys. I believe before this satan spawned blunder it was relatively peaceful in man's world is it from there the downfall of mankind began it was a factor for sure, It is from there greed arose.

Speaking of mankind one more thing that came to my mind that is the moral compass we have is it formed by ourselves or it is a product of social norms?

A popular theory by the famous psychologist [ in some circles]whom I admire and look up to Carl Jung, he talks of his archetype of shadow [ the credits for words in this paragraph goes to verywellmind.com some alterations have obviously been ], shadow consists of the sex and life instincts, the shadow exists as a part of the unconscious mind and is composed of repressed ideas, weaknesses, desires, instincts and shortcomings. The shadow forms out of our attempts to adapt to cultural norms and expectations. It is this archetype that contains all that are unacceptable not only to society but also to one's own personal morals and values. It can include but is not limited to envy, greed, hate, prejudice, aggression, jealousy, lust, resentment and everything in between. This archetype is described as the darker side of the psyche representing wildness, chaos and the unknown. These talent dispositions are present in all of us Jung believed that although people sometimes deny this element of their own psyche and instead project it on others.

Here's another bone for those who got hooked on Carl Jung's greatness. Jung believed that the human psyche is composed of three parts the ego, the personal unconscious and the collective unconscious. According to Jung, the ego represents the conscious mind while the personal unconscious contains memories including those that have been suppressed. The collective unconscious is a unique component, Jung believed that the collective unconscious part of the psyche served as a form of physiological inheritance. It contains all the knowledge and experiences that humans share as a species.

You may be wondering why Jung is not so popular as other psychologists it is the same reason why he got a cult-like following in certain circles his theories didn't have proof to back it up, but his philosophies on psychology resonated with some who were more unprejudiced and accepting. Of course, what separates hypothesis from theory is quantifiable proof obviously in the one small but very important thing that separates pseudo-science from empirical science is that for the former quantifiable proof isn't necessary for the hypothesis to turn into theory whereas in the case of the latter having solid proof is a fundamental necessity and it determines whether a hypothesis is indeed a theory. Of course, having an ultra-solid base in a subject like science is a fundamental requirement to build upon and progress but in a field like psychology where there are various schools having different explanations to a certain phenomenon or rather their core foundation connects various dots to find the root, cause and action for those behaviours. Disagreements on certain topics made psychologists branch off to start their own school of psychology for the better or worse this led to multiple schools of psychology and how this bit the tail of the common folk is that due to the abundance of the said schools of thought there can't be a standardisation for the treatment for patients who seek help for their mental health. Due to this, they have to try out different psychologists until one works for them, my post on this won't change anything only can hope for the best sadly.

I wonder how long will it take for things to be the way they were [ i.e pre covid ] when I look back I feel that always we feel the grass is greener on the other side maybe it is human nature to feel that way there were days I used to dream of not going to monotonous family gatherings, to school aka hell to meet and greet some people who were in this horrendous journey [ there weren't other people on this oat there was just me] for some I was in a boat with them, for others they were having a blast this reminds me of a generic quote which pissed me off for various reasons it said something along the lines of "life is 99% of what happens to you and 1 % how you react to it" if stating the obvious is enough to make common people gurus or the enlightened who have opened their third eye why not I set out to be the same.

It makes perfect sense to quote the obvious as in today's day and age people are living in such a fast pace they don't have the time to look back to think about what they are doing with their precious time they're always in the fast lane killing themselves to get the next best thing, to hit their next weekly target, to outbuy the guy next to them, to get that expensive metal box to drive around, to burn cash to get things to show it off to others as that's the definition of success for 90% of the people. Not hating or judging any who does the same, just as the generic dumb quote says do what you want to even though in my eyes you're wasting time and running around in circles. It is a historical fact that those who tried to pry open the eyes of those who were being led to the slaughterhouse, the victims led by the master put the saviour on the cross to burn so I don't wish to be burned so soon but. I guess my end game is to pry open the eyes of those who are blind, show them the "light" not through the traditional method but in my own way [ I do this passively when I look back]. That's what I have to tell you in this post
