The "power" of money

 

Money and power go hand in hand, those who have the latter have the means to farm the former, in short, those who have money are powerful. It is the root of all evil in today's world always has been since its invention, it was [ still is ] the driving force for people to step into the business of trade of all forms and types, people's obsession to have a bigger and better lifestyle will be as timeless as money's brother greed, we can never ever have enough of this drug, some people want to burn it, while some other hordes it and finds pleasure in saving every bit they can, some just want to keep on increasing their paycheque while and proportionately increase their spending and everything in between the number of possibilities are endless. I believe the world runs on nothing else but money the more you have the more "control" you have over your "life" those who lack the same are kicked around and abused by those who have it in abundance, those who have more money have a sick sense of superiority which is sadly true in the day and age we live in. Speaking of power and helplessness I remember a conversation I was a witness of, it was about how much poison ridden are the fruits and vegetables we consume and the perfect and practical solution was to grow the essential supplies of veggies in our garden or in grow bags if living in an apartment. The people who were having this conversation were people who said things for the sake of it and not following it up on it [ most people whom I know can't generalize] I don't understand this why saying things if you won't do it, almost everyone can talk of how things must be done and the perfect way for executing the same that's the easy part any layman can do it. I remember a particular conversation it was more of let me berate my biological offspring in front of an audience because that's what my father did to me  [ among several others which are etched into my mind because of several reasons ] { Not everyone and everything is perfect that's just life} this one hurt me the most probably [ every one of these hold a special place in my heart for a certain someone whom I wish to never ever turn into for the same person whom I loath and empathize with my feelings for all things are full of contradictions I guess that is just how humans are we can't fully love or hate a particular thing. What I was coming to say was that in this particular inhuman beration was how to shield one's child from straying towards the wrong side of the tracks which includes but is not limited to using illicit substances, premature drinking and smoking, everything undesirable you can imagine. The solution if I remember correctly was to teach the children during their adolescent period to not engage in such activities by explaining the consequences for the same and expecting that their little brains can understand it and wish that they don't do the unthinkable. The irony of this is that the person who is preaching all this jazz doesn't talk to his son unless he needs help with something or if I have got undesirable grades in my class, that's all I can remember and here he is speaking as if he does it all makes me sick to the core damn it.  

I don't understand how this inhuman behaviour is accepted in Indian society this is sick I don't think this even this is legal, when I confront this abuse of everything human then is no answer there is a false promise of not repeating it which is broken the next time opportunity for doing the same comes. I saw the same abuse happening to my torturer being the victim of his own practice is administered by his father there were bursts of euphoria mixed with pain, pity and empathy. This is not a special case of anything I have seen my fellow cousins being victims of the same in the same scenarios and I am pretty sure when they confronted their torturers the answer was the same and the actions too. The other day there was a situation where I had the opportunity to do this inhuman practice and without me knowing the words came out of my mouth as if I had no control over them I felt so disgusted with myself knowing I had done what I loath the most to someone who didn't deserve it, then I came with my own explanation for this inhuman act that is nobody wants to do this [ there are sick beings who find dirty pleasure in doing this but  I  am generalising this for now ] but they sadly end up doing it subconsciously I felt disgusted, to say the last may that be the first and the last time. 

 Speaking of " conversations" all that I am witness to is most of the time chewing the cud which in my dictionary is not conversation it is wasting time, energy and everything in between it should be considered a federal crime as it is abusing and wasting the most precious resource mankind has for the millionth time in my all of my posts I have been saying this and I want each and every one of my readers to know and understand the unfathomable truth that the very limited amount of time you have on this rock sphere is the most important and invaluable asset you can humanly have. Do what matters to you, think for yourself, introspect regularly, think before you act and speak, know that you are nothing and your existence is equivalent to a grain of sand it is nought. It is said that your head shouldn't be up in the clouds it should be beneath your feet.
